The project

What will your investment fund?

The e-Totem Méditerranée fundraising campaign aims to finance a portfolio of charging stations divided into two distinct projects:

  • The tender for the commune of Sainte-Maxime in the Var
  • The tender for the Hérault Méditerranée agglomeration in the Hérault

Commune of Sainte-Maxime in the Var

History

The company e-Totem responded to and won the call for expressions of interest from the commune of Sainte-Maxime in the Var for the deployment, financing, operation, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging infrastructures for a period of 15 years.

The present project will enable the installation of 19 charging stations representing 65 unique charging points. The deployment of the facilities began in June 2025 and will be completed in the first quarter of 2026. On-demand charging points can be implemented in 2026-2027.

Number of charging points 15 24 10 4 12 65

To maintain a comprehensive approach, the green electricity supplier Ekwateur has been selected to power all the charging stations.

Project Economics

The total investment for these facilities is €976,050, broken down as follows:

  • Supplies: €551,897
  • Installation: €289,800
  • Management, studies, commissioning: €70,183
  • Enedis connection: €64,170

e-Totem charges per kWh of electricity delivered to the consumer. The rate is proportional to the charging speed: economic (3.7 kW), normal to boost (7.4 to 22 kW), and fast (100 to 180 kW). In addition, e-Totem charges a parking space occupancy fee once the charge is complete to encourage vehicle rotation and thus combat the monopolization of charging points.

The municipality is compensated by a fixed annual fee as well as a variable fee based on turnover.

Hérault Méditerranée Agglomeration in the Hérault

History

The company e-Totem responded to and won the call for private initiatives from the Hérault Méditerranée agglomeration community for the deployment, financing, operation, and maintenance of electric vehicle charging infrastructures for a period of 15 years.

The present project will enable the installation of 53 charging stations representing 214 unique charging points. The deployment of the facilities began in early 2025 and will be completed in the first quarter of 2026.

Risk overview

Construction risks

CAPEX increase

Risk of higher construction costs due to rising raw material prices

Mitigation methods

Construction risks

Delay

Risk of construction delays or failure to complete the work

Refinancing risk

Refinancing

Credit risk related to the company's ability to refinance and meet its debt obligations.

Mitigation methods

Operating risks

Bad operation

Risk of poor project operation, faulty workmanship or machine breakdown resulting in poor performance.

Mitigation methods
