The teams from Enerfip and wpd will meet you on October 7th for an information meeting to present the project and answer all your questions. We look forward to seeing you at 6:30 PM at the Salle des Camélias (15 rue du Stade) in Bréhand.
Participate in the construction of the Ruisseau de Margot Wind Farm in Côtes-d'Armor!
Initiated in 2014 by the municipality of Bréhand as part of a project call won by the company wpd, the Ruisseau de Margot wind farm is expected to begin construction in 2026. This project is the result of close collaboration between wpd and local stakeholders (elected officials, residents, associations, etc.) that began in 2015.
The future wind farm will consist of 3 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 5 MW, standing 180 meters high with a rotor diameter of 150 meters. With a total capacity of 15 MW, it will produce approximately 32 GWh per year, equivalent to 16% of the residential electricity consumption of the Lamballe Terre et Mer Agglomeration Community.
In line with this approach, the company wpd wishes to offer citizens the opportunity to participate in the development of the Ruisseau de Margot wind farm in Bréhand by opening its financing to the residents of the territory.
The offer
Why invest?
Through this crowdfunding campaign, wpd aims to involve the local residents in the energy transition of their territory by offering them the opportunity to invest a portion of their savings directly into the Ruisseau de Margot wind project.
By allowing everyone to participate in this project, wpd aims to redistribute part of the wealth generated by the wind farm back into the local community, so that residents can benefit from the economic returns generated by the exploitation of a common natural resource: the wind.
This is an opportunity for each resident to learn about and contribute to the development of renewable energies at their own scale, collectively and directly contributing to the success of the energy transition in France.
Objective
The goal of this fundraising is to raise a total amount of 400,000 euros through the issuance of simple bonds by the company Energie Bréhand, the entity behind the Ruisseau de Margot wind project and a subsidiary of the wpd group.
Use of Funds
The funds raised will be used to finance part of the construction costs of the Ruisseau de Margot wind farm.
Repayment
The repayment of the bonds will be made through an already contractualized bank debt or a contribution to the partners’ current account.

The project
The project involves the installation of three wind turbines with a total height of 180 meters and a rotor diameter of 150 meters, which will effectively capture the wind potential of the site. The entire wind farm will have an installed capacity of 15 MW.
The map below shows the location of the wind turbines:
With an estimated annual production of 32 GWh, the wind farm will significantly contribute to the local supply of renewable electricity, equivalent to nearly 16% of the residential electricity consumption of the Lamballe Terre et Mer Agglomeration Community. Beyond the energy aspect, this project will also contribute to the ecological transition of the territory by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and strengthening local energy autonomy.
Impact
Project owners
Specialized since 1996 in the design, financing, and operation of wind farms, the wpd group develops, finances, builds, and operates wind and solar farms throughout France and in around thirty countries worldwide.
An independent producer of 100% renewable electricity, the wpd company has been present in France for over 20 years. It develops wind and photovoltaic solar farms. Its “onshore wind” team employs nearly 120 people and has developed 34 farms that supply the equivalent of 1.5 million people with green electricity. It has agencies in Limoges, Nantes, Cholet, Lyon, Dijon, Lille, Nancy, Reims, Troyes, and Boulogne-Billancourt, its headquarters.
